Just thought I'd send a quick note to say thank you for sorting out the Lexus. It's a very impressive car and I'm glad I choose it (except it's about 7mpg worse than they claim). Lombard tried to charge me almost £50 for keeping my old car 6 days longer due to the delayed Lexus, but I managed to get them to waive it after 15 minutes negotiation on the phone today. Ha ha, you've found out about my obsession with basketball! Are you a basketball fan then? Do you know of Yao Ming, huge hero in China? What a fantastic, funny, honest lady Ling is. Nothing is too much trouble and everything is done at the speed of light EXACTLY as ordered. My new Audi A3 was provided by a super-efficient dealer Ling chose and it was delivered by a super-efficient 73-year old gentleman driver!

These are the best prices of quality cars anywhere, ordered with military precision and a sense of humour equal to Steve Martin! I would probably not have seriously considered contract hire if I hadn't seen Ling's website.

My rocket truck (7-tonne 6x6 7.0 litre V8 petrol 150bhp - very nice noise) is marginally more economical than Mazda RX8 (1.5 tonne 4x2 1.3 litre hotpoint 1300, 231bhp, sounds like washing machine). Sorry for the delay in providing feedback regarding the Megane Coupe Cabriolet, we have been on holiday driving around France with the roof down on our new car!

My wife decided she wanted a new car either a Golf or a Megane Coupe Cabriolet, we only made it as far as the Renault dealership because as soon as the button was pressed for the roof to come down on the Megane CC my wife insisted that was the car for her. I take a bit more persuading so managed to just about escape the dealership without signing on the dotted line. I told my wife to find the best deal she could and we would think about it.

Within a few days my wife tells me that leasing a car is the way forward and not only that we should do the deal via Lings Cars – on the internet. I was honestly not convinced. I could not believe that leasing would work out better than buying.

The thought of not owning the car seemed alien. I am pleased to say am now a convert and am spreading the LINGsCARS Leasing Gospel to anyone that will listen including my employers, relatives, friends etc.
